Something happened this week in my quest to get many people on a conservative chat site to understand that locking up the borders would not help keep evil out of America when it is already here. After going back and forth and being attacked many times by some the members of that site, I was banished from that site. I thought it would bother me more than it actually does after getting kicked out of a chat room full of conservatives, but it does not. What I came to realize was something that I already knew all along. That Socialism is an evil that has no party boundaries. Going to far to the left takes you farther from God. And on the other side, going to far to the right takes you equally as far away from God. I think that there where many Christians that understood that in Hitler's Germany. But I also think that the majority never came to understand that.


I have bought Ann Coulter's new book, Godless, and am in the process of reading it. So far I have not found any points that I disagree with her on about Liberalism. She is pretty much right on in her understanding of extreme liberalism in America. So far though I have not found anything that deals with the other end of the spectrum. I don't know if I will as I continue to read on in the book. My views are conservative. And it makes my skin crawl sometimes when I hear some of the garbage that comes out of the mouth's of many of those on the left. But what has been equally disturbing is some of the hatred that has come shining through from those on the right who have gotten outside of Gods boundaries. I will make it very clear here. I believe that there are those on both sides of the isle, that call themselves Christians, who have gone so far to the left and to the right that they have gone outside of Gods will.


I think I have a little better grasp of Gods physics for our lives by going through this experience. Let me draw a picture of how I came to believe that there are both Liberal thinkers and Conservative thinkers in heaven. By no means however, do I think that those on either side, that are living outside Gods will, are in heaven or are going to heaven without repenting of their sins and turning away from the lifestyles that have kept them separated from God in the first place. With God at the Godhead there is a line that goes in either direction. Liberal thinkers on left and conservative thinkers on the right. This line is a circle. At the top of this circle is a box that contains Gods word and His laws for our protection. Anywhere in this box is Gods will for all of us. When we get outside this box the line begins to curve down. Eventually meeting at the bottom. At that point is where the worst of  Liberalism and the worst of Conservatism comes together. That point is where Socialism  dwells.  That is also the point where all evil  dwells. And it reaches out from there to grab any one or any belief that it can use to build its empire.


There is only one belief that it cannot coexist with. And that is the belief that Christ died for all men so that all men can  be saved. But God cannot deny Himself or His Holiness. He must give man the free will to choose. And this is where Socialism has made it's play. By reaching out and grabbing those that have wondered outside the box of Gods protection. Being on the left or the right has not helped prevent this. What has happened is that people on both sides have thrown out the responsibility of keeping themselves inside Gods word. Unfortunately, that is the part of Freedom that most people no longer want to talk about. Today is the 4th of July. A day to celebrate freedom. True freedom lives inside Gods will, not outside of it. Giving those freedoms up to the government or anyone else except God only brings bondage. And that is not what so many of our fighting men and women have died for.


There is a wonderful book called, "The Scewtape Letters" written by C. S. Lewis. Inadvertently, it has become the book that has showed me just how Socialism has crept into our society. Many on the left and the right don't seem to, or simply refuse to see this threat. Wither they call themselves Christians or not. If the rest of America fails the understand this, then it may already be to late for America. We will be doomed to repeat the same mistakes that Hitler and every other nation in history did when they turned their backs on God. And we will suffer the same fate as those nations as well. And Socialism, a belief that did not die when Germany fell but only went underground, is the tool that is helping to bring that about. I like the way that J. Vernon Mcgee put it in his study of chapter 7 of the Book of Proverbs. "Today we have many cults and isms." It is interesting that most all of these isms fall outside Gods boundaries of protection. Darwinism, Socialism, Liberalism, Conservatism, Marxism, and even Relativism.


Once we are outside those boundaries, both Liberalism and Conservatism, have a tendency to become the subjects of the istics. That is to say, they become animalistic. We become the animals that Charles Darwin said that we are. And in the animal kingdom, it surely is the survival of the fittest. Because those that are the strongest, dominates those that are the weakest. Without God and His laws, man is capable of the worst atrocities that anyone can ever imagine. Without His grace and mercy we have no way back to Him. That grace and mercy is given to us in the person of Jesus Christ. For it is Christ, and Christ alone, that keeps us from spiraling down when we keep trying to push the boundaries of Gods love. No politically correct Christianity or as Hitler put it, "Positive Christianity", will do that. That only blinds you and takes you down to the pit where Socialism grabs hold. And God only knows what you get when you mix isms and istics together. But what ever they are, they are not good.


As I said earlier there is only one belief that cannot coexist with all these other views. That is Christ crucified for our sins. Without Christ at the center of our lives to help us understand, then Liberalism and Conservatism are nothing more than vehicles that takes us farther away from God. The truth about this is hard to take. Many that I have talked to about this, on both sides, have recoiled into the defensive posture that holds on to them and keeps them from wanting to understand. Both those that call themselves Christians, and those that reject Christianity have done so. Again, as I said earlier, Socialism does not care wither you are Liberal or Conservative. Even though there are many stated goals by Socialism that appear to be good, the heart of man is always part of the equation. And when that is so, if you do not submit to Christ on a continual basis, then sin is always knocking at the door. There is some wonderful news for all who have strayed outside the box, or from under the umbrella of Gods will as some would say. The cross that Jesus died on is a bridge that will take you right back into Gods will. No matter where you are on those lines that are taking you away from God. You have until your dying breath to except Gods forgiveness for your sins.


One last word of caution for those that call themselves Christians. Today's political atmosphere is full of deceit and hatred for anything that does not fit into the politically correct mold of what Socialism is pushing. I do not understand why anyone that claims that he or she is a  Christians would vote for any candidate, from any political party, that is not a God fearing man or woman. If that candidate is pushing the worlds agendas then he or she has no fear or respect for God. There are those that use religion to try and gain votes, but they are only using religious people to gain power and nothing more. If you have been reading your bibles, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit you as a Christian know what it says about how God feels about little children. You know how God feels about adultery, fornication, homosexuality and other sexual sins. So why would you vote for any candidate who is living outside Gods will? If you are living inside Gods will, you cannot have freedom of choice without responsibility. It does not work that way. You only get freedom of choice without responsibility when you are living outside Gods will. But you also get something that many refuse to talk about. And that is consequences.


There are those that say that religion has no part in politics and that you cannot legislate morality. These are the same people that try to twist the bible into their own politically correct version because they do not agree with what it says. The problem is, because so many people feel this way, immorality is being legislated by those on both sides of the isle who want to keep religion out of politics. And that is exactly what Socialism is all about. And that is why it is more dangerous than Liberalism, or Conservatism. They are nothing more than beliefs that Satan has exploited to draw Gods children away and into the pit. These are the same beliefs that Satan exploited when he used Germany to try and destroy the Jewish race. The complacency of Christians on both sides of the political isle allowed that to happen. The complacency of so many Christians in America is threatening to once again allow this to happen. Why is it that with a nation that claims to have as much as 80% of its population that believes in God, we are allowing groups like the ACLU and other anti-christain groups to direct the policies of this nation away from God? The next great holocaust just may be directed toward those that have allowed this to happen. Wither you call yourself a Christian or not.


This article is not meant to condemn you. It is meant to exhort you into taking not only a look into your own heart, but also to actually look at those who we call our leaders. If they are not standing for God, then there is no fear or respect for God inside them. And that is the gauge we should be using to vote with. Not with our pocket books as so many people do. Nor should we be blaming other races for the sins of this nation as some are doing, and just like Germany did. The people of Germany closed their eyes and allowed Socialism to take over. We are doing the same. Do you think the results will be any different? Given the nature of the human heart, which the bible says is deceptively wicked without Christ at the center of it, I don't believe it will be any different.
