Sex Scandles

I don't understand why the Republicans a running around like a bunch of chickens with theirs heads cut off over this scandal with Mark Foley. There is no question that Foley is a pervert and a pedophile. He should be dealt with in the strongest of terms. But the biggest question is. Why are the Democrats able to turn this issue into one where they claim to be such innocent little angles? They have for years covered up sexual scandals and gasped with horror when someone dared to point it out to them. The list is long and it starts with Bill Clinton. But that is not something that you will hear from the Liberal news media. There is a hypocritical stance here. The fact is, that most, if not all Republicans who get caught in these scandals are voted out by their constitutes. On the other hand most Democrats who get caught in these scandals are voted back in by their constitutes. The hypocrisy is evident. And so are their standards. The moral values of all these politicians are equally as low. So why is it that the Democrats do not hold their elected Democratic officials to the same higher standards that they hold the Republicans to? Mark Foley should be held accountable. But so should everyone else from both parties who allow themselves to become involved in immoral activity. One of my favorite tv shows is CSI. I just watched an episode where one of the characters made the statement that you cannot force someone to follow the correct path of a moral compass. I've heard people say that you cannot legislate morality. And I agree with that statement. But politicians have been busy legislating immorality. And they have allowed themselves to get caught up in that immorality. There is a reason that the bible exhorts us to be careful who we choose as friends. It is for our own protection. This ploy by the Democratic Party is clear evidence of their hatred for anyone who is not liberal. The British called Americans stupid for voting for George Bush as President. My question is! Are Americans as stupid as the Democrats think we are? Maybe the British where right. I hope not. But if we cannot or will not see through this hypocrisy and allow God to be kicked out of America as some are trying to do, then maybe the British where right. One of the greatest gifts that God has given this nation is the ability to choose our leaders. Like it or not, these same leaders are a reflection of the people of this nation. This means that our values are reflected in the politicians that we vote into office. Just think about it and ask yourself this question. Who's values do you want your children to see? The next question we need to ask ourselves is! If our politicians are not reflecting biblical values, why are we voting for them? The bible tells us that if we do not belong to our Father in heaven we belong to Satan. So just who are these politicians reflecting and who's work are they doing? Whether they are Democrat, Republican or from any of the other political parties, if they are not doing Gods work, then they are doing Satan's. And that statement is not only for the politicians. The bible is very clear on that.
