OUT OF CONTROL JUDGES
"To consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all [moral] questions is a very dangerous doctrine indeed," wrote Thomas Jefferson, "one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy."
Isaiah 5:18-24 Woe to those who draw sin along with cords of deceit, and wickedness as with cart ropes,to those who say, “Let God hurry, let him hasten his work so we may see it. Let it approach, let the plan of the Holy One of Israel come, so we may know it.” Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent. Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel.
Below is a poem by Judge Roy Moore that says it all. Judge Moore is a godly man who has taken a stand to uphold the law based of the Biblical foundation that it was established under. When he defied the order to remove the Ten Commandments from his court room groups like the ACLU, which has been on a crusade to destroy the biblical foundation of this nation, joined together with left-wing judges to remove him from office. The unholy alliance between the ACLU and other groups has sent America into a downward slide toward Gods judgment. I have a little statement of my own about such alliances. It goes like this. Any alliance formed in hell will end at the gates of hell when those alliances will seek to protect themselves by shoving each other through those gates. Any alliance formed in heaven will last an eternity.
Jesus tell us that you cannot serve two masters. These judges have decided to join the ACLU and other groups in defying God. That is an alliance formed in hell.
AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL
America the Beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty,
your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain.
From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray.
We've kept God in our temples,
how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.
We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges
who throw reason out the door,
Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.
You think that God's not angry,
that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?
How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?
If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face ;
and mend our evil way:
Then God will hear from Heaven
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.

withdraw His hand from Thee.

Most people are aware of what John 3:16 has to say since it has been seen many times during some sporting or other event. But what they are not aware of are the verses that follow.
John 3:16-21 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”
These are encouraging words for those that believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Not so encouraging for those that are bend on defying God. For God has promised not only to expose the evil deeds that men and women do, but to also deal with them. I encourage you to read for yourselves just what the bible has to say. Not just a verse here or there which many people like to throw out there and use out of context. But the whole bible. I think you will find it enlightening.
Here is prayer that was offered by Minister Joe Wright before the Kansas House of Representatives on January 23, 1996. It is no less appropriate today.
“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, “Woe to those who call evil good.” but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
We confess that:
We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word ...... and
called it Pluralism.
We have worshipped other gods ...... and called it
multiculturalism.
We have endorsed perversion ...... and called it alternative
lifestyle.
We have exploited the poor ...... and called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness ...... and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn ...... and called it choice.
We have shot the abortionist ...... and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children ...... and called it
building self-esteem.
We have abused power ...... and called it politics.
We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions ...... and called it
ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity ...... and pornography
and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers
...... and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin
and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent
to direct us to the center of your will. I ask it in the Name of Your
Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. ---- Amen.”
