So
now that the special election is over with in California, just what is
next for Governor Schwarzenagger and the Republican party? This was an
election that the governor had stacked everything on. Many say this was
an attempt to grab power in California by the Republican Party. But in
a state that is dominated by leftist extremist this is not likely to
happen. I want to take you back to an article
that I had written previously and posted on my site. In this
article I raised the question of whether or not the ouster of Gray
Davis in California was such a good idea. I'll once again raise that
question. Was getting Gray Davis out of office such a good idea for the
Republican Party. As of this California Special Election I would think
that many Republicans are now wondering if that was such a good idea.
The Democrats on the other hand are celebrating a victory that they
knew would come their way with Arnold Swhwarzenegger in office. As I
stated in my previous article, Governer Schawarzenegger is a man of
moral relivitism. And when he won the recall election in 2003 it was
not that alarming for the Democratic Party in California. What happened
when Davis was removed from office was that the heat was off of the
liberal extremist in Sacramento. Nothing has changed about their
extremism since the election except that they have become more extreme.
However with all eyes now on Arnold, they have continued to undermine
those in California who believe that true extremism is when you
deliberately thumb your nose at God in disobedience. So now, with all
of
the Propositions going down to defeat, just what is left for the
governor and the Republican party? This question needs to be posed not
only to those in California, but to the national party as well. When
President Bush nominated Harriet Myres to the Supreme Court, many in
the
Republican Party where up in arms about the nomination. The next
question that I want to pose is, where were you when Ruth Bader
Ginsburg was nominated to the Supreme Court? This ungodly woman, an
ACLU member, is the
symbol of extremism when it comes to thumbing her nose to God. And yet,
she was overwhelmingly approved to the Supreme Court by those in the
Democratic Party and those cowardly Republicans who refused to take a
stand for what is right. The Republican
Party has apparently turned into a party of moral relativism as well.
Refusing to take a stand for what is right unless there is personal
gain. This is what happens when you have a nation that is seeking to
remove God from any mention except to treat Him as a genie that should
only be there to rescue them when they get into trouble. What has
happened is that God is removing His hand of protection from a nation
that simply refuses to truly acknowledge Him as Lord.
Proverbs 11:3-6 says that-The
integrity of the upright will guide them.
But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. Riches do not
profit in the day of wrath. But righteousness delivers from death. The
righteousness of the blameless will direct his way aright. But the
wicked
will fall by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright will
deliver them. But the unfaithful will be caught by their own lust.
California and America is caught in the web of moral relativism and
there is only one end for a nation or an individual that is caught in
that web. Only God can rescue us from that web, but He will not rescue
us if we refuse to acknowledge Him as Lord. This means that we as a
nation must repent and turn away from our sins. If we don't, then we
cannot expect that God will rescue us. No nation as ever stood without
doing so. So what makes anyone think that they can stand in defiance of
God. Those that think that they can are the true extremist. There are
many that claim that the law of the Ten Commandments was done
away with and that the law of Grace is the only thing that stands now.
This is only true for those that have truly excepted Christ as Lord of
their lives. This is not true for those that have rejected Christ as
Lord. You can quote any scripture you want to in the bible but there is
nothing in the bible that supports that. Many have tried to twist
scripture to soot their own purpose but greasy grace does not get you
into heaven. Only the true grace of God will. That grace comes through
only one person. That person is Christ Jesus and no one else. Anyone
who lives their life through moral relativism will miss out on the true
grace of God. And that is something to truly morn over. Any individual
or nation that lives by these standards will ultimately fall. Any
attempt to say other wise is to play a politically correct game that
brings destruction to individuals and nations. Wake up America. Before
that destruction comes. Gods word is full of promises and rewards for
the godly and the ungodly. Which promise and reward you will receive
depends on which side of the isle you choose to stand on. Not which
political party you belong to. If you truly make Jesus lord of your
life, then the law of the Ten Commandments has no hold on you. If you
refuse to make Him lord, then there is no escaping the law of the Ten
Commandments. God has been graceful to us as a nation. But refusal to
except the sacrifice of His Son for your sins is the ultimate act of
defiance and nothing can be as extreme as that. Except of course, the
wrath of God. And history has shown us that moral relativism brings
nothing but Gods wrath to individuals and nations.
